Tourist / Short-Stay Visa (Type C)
France is one of 27 Schengen Area member countries — a single Schengen visa covers travel to France and every other member country on the same trip. Apply at the consulate of France if it's your main destination or first point of entry (or the country you'll spend the most time in). Biometrics are mandatory. The visa allows up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Apply 3–4 weeks in advance; 6 weeks for peak season (Jun–Aug).
Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date. Issued within last 10 years.
Copy of the last page showing your address, parents' and spouse's names, and any old passport details.
2 photos (35×45mm, matte, white bg, taken in last 3 months).

Confirmed return booking from Hyderabad to Europe.
