Tourist (B-2)
The US B-2 Tourist Visa is one of the most sought-after visas for Indian travellers. It is valid for 10 years with multiple entries, allowing stays of up to 6 months per visit. The application requires completing the DS-160 form online, paying the fee, scheduling a VFS appointment for biometrics and then an embassy interview. Approval depends on strong ties to India, financial stability, and purpose of visit.
Original + all old passports. Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond travel date.

2 recent photos (51×51mm, white background, no glasses, within last 6 months).
Completed DS-160 form confirmation page with barcode from ceac.state.gov.
MRV fee payment receipt + CGI Federal appointment confirmation.
Last 6 months personal bank statements showing min ₹5–10 lakh average balance.
Salary slips (3 months) + employer letter stating leave sanctioned + designation.
Last 2–3 years ITR with Form 16 / CA-certified financials.
Rough itinerary of US visit (cities, duration). NOT a booked ticket.
US hotel booking or sponsor/host letter if staying with family/friend.
Recommended but not mandatory for B-2 visa.
If visiting relatives — their US status documents, invitation letter.
House ownership, land deeds — proof of strong ties to India.
Enrollment letter from Indian college/university.
